TN has little to do with green card. Surprised so many people have little knowledge about immigration. Green card process (or immigration process) is a different process.

My personal experience,I have enjoyed living in Canada more than living in the US. My visiting Canada two months ago felt like going home. The first thing I did was to indulge myself in Tim Hortons with a large double-double with a 12-grain bagel toasted with butter. Canada is really awesome!!!

真的吗？说来分享下，网上包括公司都建议先申请H1b, 朋友2012就拿上了H1b, 目前还在拿GC的过程中.

H1B is unnecessary. I sent TN and TD visa with other paperwork to USCIS. My i140 was approved in 5 days. Then waited about 6 months to get i485 approval and get GC.

谢谢，漏看了EB1，只是大多数人不够资格申请EB1, 所以才申请HB1的.

James is right. TN or H1B are independent from GC. But you are exceptionally outstanding to qualify for EB1B, You must have a PhD degree and also have proved outstanding in your own right. Not everybody qualifies for that.

这个关键看你在哪个公司。比如如果是微软的话，他们等你TN到地后，马上商量问你要绿卡吗。如果你说要，他们立马帮你办。但首先他们会找律师放一大套空话，比如你说如何 NB，整个美国都找不到你这样的人才。然后就可以交表申请了

听说过名字的公司，不这样做的还不多但是这并不能使你绿卡排期减少，该等5年还得等5年。
