电缆的长度不是问题, 问题是质量能不能保证. 市面上的廉价HDMI电缆大都沿用CAT5网络电缆的双绞线对结构, 两三米的短距离用于HDMI互联眼图劣化不明显所以基本上没问题, 十几米的距离就不好说了.

10米 is alright, There are a lot of 50-foot HDMI cables in the market. They are mostly reliable for signals up to current 1080p, but may not be good for the future 16b 1080p (HDMI 1.3). Do not buy the cheap one.

I compared friend's Monster ($90) and C2 ($9) on my 42' LCD using Rogers' HD channel and I could not see the difference. I bought two C2.

My friend was using Monster, he cannot tell the difference. IMO, HDMI is digital, 0 or 1, which means either working or not working. Monster cables simply don't worth it.
