n制为30frame per second. 隔行就需要60，这是lcd的最低要求。但对于人眼，每秒少于70就会感到闪烁，所以只能再翻一倍---120 hz.. 如果是pal制就是100 hz. 与视频压缩无关。

I thought flicker only applies to CRT/Plasma monitors. LCD TVs suffer from motion blur and only response time and back light help here.

and the movie is made by frames. the different frames make picture moving. the film movie is based on 24 f/ps. tv movies are depend on different system, ntsc, pal and etc.

Didn't get you then. If a pixel on LCD can turn from black to white less than the time per frame, then what's the point of ultra fast response time? Unlike LCD, CRT cannot keep still images and needs keep refreshing, ON/OFF doesn't apply to CRT.

三种电视工作原理完全不同，CRT靠电子枪不停的扫描荧光点发光，所以它需要一定的扫描频率来避免闪烁；LCD靠电流控制像素点开关闭合，不需要刷新屏幕，理论上只要反应时间（全黑到全白）快于每帧的显示时间，就不会产生motion blur。

refresh frq rate has nothing to do with lcd, as long as the response time is low, it is ok, there is no refresh frq rate in term of lcd panel display.
