枫下家园 / 家用电器 / 请教一般1080P的高清电视是否支持1440*900的格式？960p是指多少像素？买dell电脑时光图便宜了，显卡最高只支持1440*900，连1600*900都不支持。这样要是买的1080P的高清电视不支持这个格式就惨了。怎么看高清节目啊？

It is the video card that needs to support the native resolution of your TV, not on the contrary. LCD TV always works on native resolution.

I don't think that HD LCD always works on native resolution. For example, a 1080P LCD may work on 720P/960P/1080i/1080p resolutions.Unfortunately my computer doesn't support 1920*1800 which means 1080p. IF a LCD supports 1440*900, it also will be fine for me.

You are wrong. LCD only works under native resolution. LCD TV can accept signals of different resolutions, but they will be converted to panel's native resolution eventually. This is the reason up converting may not be good for 1080i LCD TVs.

1024x768一定支持吧？很多plasma的native分辨率是1024x768。不是TV native resolution当然可以，HDTV应该可以料理，抽点插点的，一定不清楚罢了。-〉

支持是支持，但 不是点对点，效果不好。不行的话升级显卡吧。

问题是什么？你有没有1080p TV? 没有的话，恭喜你省钱了，买个non-1080p的HDTV。将来添游戏机，也不用最新最贵的，买个PS2(no PS3)/XBOX(no 360)还便宜。如果已经1080p了，就凑合看吧，能看。电脑5-年1更新，下次买注意点。

买电脑前没仔细看，心想现在1920*1080也不算什么高的，显卡是集成的6150LE。拿到电脑后才发现最高只到1440*900，可是后来我看dell的网站上说这款显卡支持1920*1080。估计是他在驱动里面做了限制，我还得找dell 问问。

Notebooks allow you to use lower resolution than the native (e.g. you can change resolution from 1280x1024 to 1024x768, and only part of panel will be used since LCD works in the way of pixel to pixel). I don't know whether LCD TV can do that.
