this thing probably allows you to brew and froth at the same time. the gauges let you know the actual brewing pressure so you have an idea how to adjust the way you prepare the grind.diecast metal base makes the machine stable and more professional looking/feel. A good way to burn cash.

哎，此言差得不能再差了，不同口味的嘛，不好酱紫厚此薄彼的，，，再说ESPRESSO那种浓缩/精炼的味道实在是无以替代，对不对？

The one in the URL is an older design. There is an improved version of the same model that looks almost identical but with a metal frother tip and a better filter retainer. Check out your local Sears store.I have the machine and like it.

你说的这个 moka maker 好象小资们早就把它打进冷宫多时了吧? 跟pressure espresso maker比, 它温度过高, 压力又不够, 味道差一截, 如果要做latte还要另外准备个frother, 现在的espresso maker都至少是2-in-1.

I agree, you can define it whatever way you like. But there is nothing wrong with 2-in-1 when it's done right, like a steam frother in an espresso machine.
