枫下家园 / 家用电器 / Images LCD HD TV for non-HD programms? When I use LCD HD TV to watch Non-HD channel program, the image is not good. When the image is moving, it looks like there is a shadow layer in front of the images, like 2 layers. Why?
Even HD programm, the info said it's 1080i, not 1080p. Why?

HD programming is 1080i, and 1080i TV may be a better choice than 1080p in case of watching SD/HD programming.

your answer dosent make sense. 1080p tv also works under 1080i mode too, no difference at all

1080p only outperforms 1080i when displaying 1080p signals; for 480p and 720p signals, 1080p has to upscale the picture more than 1080i, and it is more noticeable on large TVs.
