Neither. Get HD-DVD or Blueray, or download real hi-def stuff from the internet to make full use of your HDTV and enjoy what your HDTV can really do. Cable companies are all cheap assesall they care is just squeezing every penny out of the limited bandwidth by scaling down the signal to the minimium acceptable level, and they don't mind decimating the signals to 8-bit from standard 10-bit to save bandwidth. Satellite broadcasters suck too.
I heard the free, open air HD signals are good in terms of quality, but their programs suck.
