枫下家园 / 电脑用户 / 求救: 刚装了windows2000, 但是modem有问题. 我用的是软猫Conexant SoftK56 Data,Fax,RTAM PCI Modem. 找到其drive for 2000后,能拨号上网, 但要命的是连通后那怪叫声永不停止, 我都快疯了.怎么办?怎样才能停止那声?

modem属性里可以调节声音的，把它关了吧。不过最好找找原因，会不会是驱动程序不好？

Is the driver of Win2K from the same vendor? For example, If the modem from Compaq, u need got a driver from compaq. The driver sticks to the vender ID and device ID. Try this URL.

太谢谢了,终于通过编号找到了那家台湾vendor和win2K drive.连通后能去掉声音了。但又出现新问题：播号同一个ISP,在98连接速度是48K，而在2000下每次都是28.8K.太奇怪了。查看了很多设置项,98和2000没什么区别，再次请求援助。

2. If the speed is really the same, does the driver of Window 2k support V90/Flex 56? E-mail to the Vendor?
