枫下家园 / 电脑用户 / 共享Rogers Cable Internet Access的相关问题。家中有三台电脑，想共享互联网但是不想买3各IP。请问是否在一台机子上安装WIN2000Server,并设置成代理服务器提供Internet Access给其他工作站。 这样Rogers是否可能检测出来。
哪位知道WIN2000Server(english version),如何设置参数(Rogers 好像提供的是dymamic IP).

Your server needs to have 2 NIC. One connects to the cable modem using DHCP. The other connect to your own internal network. In your internal network, you can use whatever IP address you want.

I have an Ethernet & 4-port Hub Card, So, one port can be used as up-link, others connect to other computers.

use 'IPCONFIG' to detect the IP address if u want to install win2k server. u can't miss it.

sorry, forget to tell u that u should add the parameter '/all'. so the correct one should be 'IPCONFIG /ALL'

You must have 2 nic in your main server, or you must have a hubIf you have 2 nic in your server, you can use windows 2000 share connect or use 3rd tool such as Wingate

如果用路由器，各自独立，互不相干，不必有SERVER。HUB是集线器，ROUTER是路由器。搬家时跟电话移机一样，是要交费的。

Rogers要监测的话可以测出来你在用Server，因为你前的协议上你是不允许用server的。不过装个防火墙把！
