It could be that your screwed the fan too close to the frame which is now causing vibration, also, check your HD, I had a problem where I thought the noise was from the fan, though after lengthy investigation,I had founded that the noises are actually from the old 5400 HD (spining)

我的电脑用了一年后，经常发出很大的噪声。开始以为是硬盘，后来发现竟然是那ELSA显卡的小风扇发出的。和crystal同样的方法，在轴承处滴了滴菜油，OK！

谢谢诸位，我已经验明正身，确实是电源风扇问题，现已经将机箱打开，电源拆开，风扇电源拔掉，顿时很安静。看来这样用计算机也不错，插拔什么都放便。

I had the same problem. After removing the fan, I found the power supply became very hot. I find nowhere to sell the fan separately. I had to buy a new power supply, wich cost me $20.

谢谢诸位，问题顺利解决，润滑油、垫片都试过，不行，后来换了一个风扇，一切OK。看来EGG说的有道理，就是轴承有问题。一个小风扇花了11 bucks,太过分了。
