I don't think so, you can apply for EE which is also easy to find a job. BTW, are you applying for
master or bachelor? Are you PR or international student? Any answer depends on your status, your TOEFL and GPA.

Go for those with high ranking and reputation. It depens more on your luck then anything else, so apply more, say UT, Waterloo, Queen's, McMaster,
...

BTW, Queen's has pattern 2 program, you have to pay your own tuition, but there is no need to
struggle for thesis, 9 courses or 8 course+project
will be fine, which takes about 16 months. A very good choice.
