my opinion: you need F2 visa. let your husband work on it.1. Application will ask your husband information, you must tell the truth.
2. You are not working, not a full-time student, Can you convince the visa office you will be back to Canada? maybe you will, I don't think you can convince others.
3. F2 is a better choice, good luck
