枫下茶话 / 法律 / 问有经验的DX：LD为移民，在米国读书，买了一大车。请问LG能否跑到米国开着那辆车回到加拿大用几天？需要大车搬东西。当然不想把这辆车进口，因为这辆车最终还要回米国。LG只有米国的B1签证。谢谢！

Only if LD's insurance covers LG driving in US or Canada. normally insurance doesn't cover it, that makes LG illegal driving LD's vehicle.

Well the insurance does cover LG as the secondary driver...Most insurance will cover the vehicle when u drive it away from the home city...I was much more concerned about the canadian law...

Are you sure US insurance will cover LG even he doesn't have US driver license, Ontario doesn't allow Canadian driver drives US plate vehicle without proper insurance.

When bought the insurance from StateFarm, they took the ontario driving licence, although they had difficult time to fill in...

If you don't have your name on the policy, Canadian Custom may not let you through. good luck.

很麻烦，不要这样作，租个车搬东西算了。你开美国牌车进加拿大会把你翻个底朝天。你们有TIE和加拿大，会被要求车辆进口，还会涉及移民身份问题。
