For example, you will come to Canada in Jan. 2008, count from Jan. 2003 to Jan.2008

I think it should be counted from the date right after your landing date during the next 5 yrs(not any 5 yrs). Am I right?

I think it must be the first 5 yrs, not any 5-yr. Right? BTW, I do want to know if I've lived in Canada for yrs, can I leave for working in home country without lost of PR?

I don't think so, any 5 years is more reasonable, and stricter.
