my thoughtif the offer letter dated within last 6 months, should be quite okay.
No one could guarantee you, if not too much trouble, better ask HR issue a letter.

雇主信又不是什么难事？为什么不去开这个口呢？当初俺去问经理要雇主信，他开心的有牙没眼的，觉得他能用一把小权了。不过你要是去美国找工作面试，又不想让现在雇主知道，那只好自求多福了。

It's easy.It's very normal to ask the employment letter from you HR in North America. If you don't want to tell them you want to apply for the U.S. visa, you can tell them you want to buy a new house (car) or something else.
This letter just verify you have a full time job, when you got it and what is your saraly. And it indicates your company's phone and who will be contacted if they may have questions.
