Please help understand: if I contribute 12%, company will match 6% or company will match 3%? Thanks!

401k 的限额是 IRS 每年定的一个数额，今年是一万八，而不是 percent of gross income 这种浮动的。 “Employee are allowed to contribute up to 16% of their gross income as allowed by the IRS limitation” 本来就不正确

that's 3% max if 50% match. If 6%, they will use terms like ...dollar to dollar match
