4. US SS。工作满十年才能拿。可以把加拿大的CPP年数考虑进去。但是钱数只和在美国交的SS有关。在美国拿,必须有合法身份。在美国以外必须是美国公民,加拿大公民或者在加拿大居住的加拿大移民。

In most cases, Medicare won't pay for health care or supplies you get outside the US.
There are a few narrow exceptions to this rule:
• When a foreign hospital is nearer than the nearest US hospital to:
o The place in the US where you have a medical emergency, or
o Your home, for treatment of your medical condition (regardless of whether it is an emergency)
• You are traveling through Canada between Alaska and another state when a medical emergency occurs, and a Canadian hospital is closer than the nearest US hospital that can treat your illness/injury.
• Medically-necessary health care services on a cruise ship which is no more than 6 hours away from a US port.
I don't think you understand how pension fund works.

CPP is a fully funded system where future liability is funded with real assets. It means even no one contribute to CPP it still has enough money to pay out its current benefit and future benefit for the amount it has already accrued.
Social security is a pay as you go system with very limited funding. Like you said, if the contribution stops, the program dies. I don't know why all the economists acknowledge the problem with SSB but you think it is perfectly fine.
CPP has been the role model for the pension plan offered by all western countries because of how well it has been managed.
