Most of these products provide some hope for patients with a terminal illness. As far as I am concerned, these are really placebo effects. There is NO solid evidence to support its use clinically. But, we all know medicine is not all science, a lot of times, art, hope and faith have something to do with it as well. Dr. Stanley Zheng at Yee Hong Centre is best person to ask for this sort of stuff. He is probably the most qualified local physician I know in this area.

但是所有的保健品都标榜自己对某种疾病的治疗有效果，这在法律上是不允许的，但在实际上都是这么操作，就象现在在各个中文免费报纸上做广告的某某蜂胶一样。还有民间流传的灵芝对癌症的治疗效果。有没有哪家公司将多糖体提炼出来作为药物进行临床实验呢?大家都知道多糖体是好东西。甚至我的亲戚自己在家种植灵芝孢子，还给我一大包用来冲水喝，我怀疑到底能吸收多少多糖体。
再请问中医治癌、预防医学、自然疗法和现代医学（西医）的区别和关系。什么是MARTIN DE LA CRUZ 奖？请原谅我的无知。谢谢！
