transabdominal examination was performed.
the uterus is anteverted, midline, non-gravid and normal in size, measuring 42x43x78 mm in diameter.
the endometrial echo is normal, 6m thick
the ovaries are normal in size and both contain multiple small peripheral follicles raising the possibility of polycystic ovrian disease.
the right ovary measures 22x31x37 mm in size.
the left ovary measures 22x26x28 mm in size.
no adnexal mass is seen and there is no free fluid seen in the cul-de-sac.

my concern was these multiple small periperal follicles but my doc said as long as my period is regular. that shouldn't be a concern. also i am pretty slim he said most obese women developed polycystic ovrian disease. my question is if my period is regular, why both ovaries contain multiple small follicles which is abnormal. could this be a risk of having polycystic ovrain disease? i am actually planning to have a baby. i keep asking my doc if i can conceive a baby coz after saw this report i was worrying about i might get miscarrage. my doc said it's safe to conceive a baby right now. so what's your opinion about my situation. thanks in advance更多精彩文章及讨论，请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
