The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario will only evaluate the case on medical grounds. They will not deal with the complainant's claim for finacial compensation. For money issues, the complainant can go to the Ontario Dental Association (ODA, 4 New Street, Toronto, On. M5R 1P6). But I think the Association will not help the patient/victim, because the organization is paid by dentists to protect their interest only. The 网友 in question will find by taking his concerns to these professional organizations will only add insult to injury. Even so, I still think he should put up a fight. It is a necessary learning process for anyone who is new to a place.

confrontation is usually the last resort for resolving differences, try to understand your dentist, and at the same time try to have him/her understand your feelings and positions

again, there must be two sides of the same story, i don't know what was the causes of his mistake, is it an honest mistake or a careless one? After retireing from teaching at med school, looking back, i admit i have made many mistakes, we are all human, and we make human errors. the important thing is to learn from the mistakes we made, and make sure no one will suffer from the same mistakes again.
