1. Raised Ink ( Intaglio)
Run your finger over the words "BANK OF CANADA BANQUE DU CANADA" and the large number 5; the ink feel thicker to the touch. You can also feel the rased ink on the portrait and the Coat of Arms.
2.Fluorescence
Place the note under UV light and you will see the following elements, which are not visible in normal light:
a. the COat of Arms, the words FIVE CINQ, and BANQUE DU CANADA BANK OF CANADA glow blue over the portait;
b. fibres that appear randomly on both sides of the note glow red. (Note: Bule fibres, visible in normal light, do not glow.)

注: 最重要的一点是, 如果买东西时有人认为你的是假钞,但任何人没有权力收回你的钞票, 无论是真钞还是假钞, 即使是警察, 除非他有相关文件证明他可以这么做. 这一点与大陆完全不同. 提醒大家注意, 别被不良分子拿走你的钱, 利用两个国家法律的不同.
